In designing the Lyu I'd had a very distinct picture in my head for inspiration, a drawing by Alphonse Mucha. Since I thought Michael might wish to include the Lyu in his cover art I sent him a copy of it, so that he could see where my ideas had come from. Note: clicking on the image leads to a 2MB file
	As it turns out he was familiar with the drawing, and I think the finished product reflected the same elements that had drawn me to the picture in the first place, while doing a marvelous job of adapting them to suit the unique flavor of the book.
